Star Anise Pods - Bag 35g

Star anise pods are a liquorice flavoured seed pod; they're aptly named as they are shaped as a beautiful eight pointed star. Essential to Chinese five spice, garam masala, and masala chai. Star anise pairs well with allspice, cloves, nutmeg, ginger, and garlic. Add star anise to cakes, cookies, and fruits like rhubarb, plums, and dates. It's even a great additive to chocolate, and if you're wanting to add an extra kick to your chocolate milk (yes please!), add a little star anise.
