Our organic cacao nibs are the fermented beans of the cacao fruit, and they come from the La Red co-op in the Dominican Republic. We roast the whole bean, peel the outer husk away and then crack the beans into little pieces called nibs.
We could just use these to make amazing chocolate but we are offering these premium cacao nibs for you to enjoy! They have incredible chocolate flavour, minerals like magnesium and iron, plus they are rich in polyphenol antioxidants, and are a delicious crunchy addition to smoothies, yogurt, cookies, fruit salad, trail mix... the list goes on!
