Single origin bean-to-bar dark chocolate
This extraordinary cacao comes from a 180-hectare farm that was abandoned in the 1980s during the war in Guatemala. It was later given to the original workers who now total 125 families. Only accessible by a swinging bridge over the Cahabon river, every 100lb sack of cacao is carried out by hand. We feel so lucky to work with these premium beans and support the livelihood of these farmers.
We take this fine cacao and roast, winnow, refine, temper, pour and package our chocolate all by hand in Cobble Hill, BC. This supports our local economy and gives you a divine chocolate bar to enjoy.
Tasting Notes: Distinct floral notes with wildflower honey and a candied lemon finish.
