Over 100 years ago a new tradition emerged in Little Italy on the East Coast - the Espresso Romano, an espresso with a twist of lemon. We took the Espresso Romano and made it into a dark chocolate bar with organic espresso beans and lemon essence. Grazie!

The exceptional cacao beans in this dark chocolate bar are sourced directly from small cacao growers in Haiti, Guatemala, and the Dominican Republic. These farmers are paid a premium and stable price which helps them plan for continued prosperity and support the biodiversity of their farms and the local environment.

We take this fine cacao and roast, winnow, refine, temper, pour and package our organic dark chocolate all by hand on Vancouver Island in Cobble Hill, BC, Canada. This supports our local economy and gives you a craft chocolate bar to enjoy from bean to bar.
