Dominican Republic - OKO CARIBE -single origin dark chocolate
Located in the Duarte province of the Domicna Republic, Oko Caribe works with 165 small farmers. Their technical systems ensure proper fermenting and drying of the organic cacao beans, creating superior fine flavour grade beans, giving the farmers a sustainable price for their crop. We have been buying these cacao beans since 2013 and thyey make utterly delicious chocolate.
We take this fine cacao and roast, winnow, refine, temper, pour and package our chocolate all by hand in Cobble Hill, BC. This supports our local economy and gives you a divine chocolate bar to enjoy.
Tasting Notes: Nutty rich brownie, raisins with mild acidity.

organic cacao beans, organic cane sugar. Minimum 80% cacao.
