Goldenmilk is a traditional Indian ayurvedic drink made of turmeric, black pepper, and other spices like cardamom, ginger and cinnamon blended with warmed milk. We added cacao to our recipe to turn it into a delicious goldenmilk chocolate power combo! Because turmeric is fat-soluble, combining it with good fats like cacao and coconut, as we have done, helps the body absorb turmeric's active ingredient: curcumin. We also added black pepper to help with absorption. This is synergy at work.
